Among a neon-lit backdrop oozing with chrome, gold, and wealth, sits an empire of immortal stainless steel machines renouncing their final drops of humanity. Empires built by indestructible oligarchs crush those of mortal flesh and bone. Yet small out-posts of "resistors" remain: old school humans who refuse to shed their "skins" for the shiny chrome plating of the New Elites.
Under a digitalized mass surveillance socialist "paradise", a series of 8 interconnected artificial intelligence agencies or Motherboards have replaced all forms of centralized government. The Central Eight now authorize and enforce all legal, judicial, criminal and financial institutions.
Under increasingly rigid economics, the lowers classes are squeezed to suffocation.
But how can one start a revolution when all forms of speech are controlled, observed and punishable by an unspoken jury?
